San Diego, US-based Speak2Leads (S2L) is a leading global provider of Internet lead response management products for small- and medium-sized businesses. Our simple, Web-based lead response tools allow organizations to immediately respond and follow-up with their Internet leads during the peak point of interest, resulting in increased sales.

Speak2Leads was formed in 2004 by a group of US innovators with roots in interactive marketing spanning back to the late 1980's, with the first interactive voice response system application for database marketing. The team went on to successfully develop several interactive marketing ventures, from song recognition technology and interactive outdoor media, to Internet reward programs for radio and TV, as well as social bookmarking applications.

With a solid track record helping more than 70 North American education, technology and other organizations increase Internet lead conversions - often at dramatic levels - the Speak2Leads team continues to invest time and resources into developing innovative and intuitive lead response technology.

Executive Team

Sammy James – CEO and Founder

Sammy, Speak2Leads’ lead strategist, is no stranger when it comes to devising industry-leading marketing innovations. In fact, he helped revolutionize direct response marketing and telephony applications more than 20 years ago when he developed database marketing for media using IVR systems to build audience reward programs for radio and TV.

The tireless entrepreneur went on to assume executive roles with multiple start-ups and innovations, including the first personalized Internet radio station, first social bookmarking site, first song recognition application, as well as various ad response telephony and web applications.

Sammy also founded and oversaw MarketingAnd, an award-winning direct marketing ad agency, as well as Get Starts, which helped schools throughout North America and South America generate, convert and measure results. To bolster innovations and secure a stronghold in the market, both organizations were merged to form Speak2Leads.

George Wu – President

George manages company operations with focus on sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships. He’s a pioneer and patent holder in multi-modal response technologies, and has more than 18 years of technology and marketing experience across several industries, including consumer products, hardware, software, and IT services, with companies such as HP and Clorox.

Prior to joining Speak2Leads, George was the CMO for hiSoft Technology Intl (Nasdaq GM: HSFT), a global IT outsourcing company with over 4,000 employees throughout Asia and the US that builds and tests products for clients like Microsoft, GE, Adobe, and Google. During his tenure with hiSoft, George helped hiSoft double sales year over year. Previously, George was CMO and Managing Partner of Envisage Solutions, a leading consultancy for CRM technologies, and a founding services partner for Siebel OnDemand. Prior to Envisage, George was Founder, CEO, and patent holder of a music and ad response company called Promeo Technologies. He is also a founder and managing partner of a professional angel investment group called NextLevel Management (NLM) and has made over 20 equity investments with early stage technology companies.

George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA and an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business.

Ronald A. Tamura – Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)

Ron is responsible for business and product strategy, and oversees finance and administration. Prior to Speak2Leads, Ron was the founder of Nascent Consulting, a partnership providing in-depth consulting services to new technology ventures. Operating between North America and Asia, the group works closely with developing organizations’ executive teams to formulate and implement effective business models and growth strategies for global markets.

As an entrepreneur, Ron has held executive roles in start-ups with a wide range of responsibilities including technology development, product management, business development, marketing, finance, and client services. He was part of the start-up team for an IT service and contact center company in Japan from its inception to becoming a $60 million company (acquired by Fujitsu). Prior to working with early-stage companies, Ron held various management positions at Apple and Hewlett-Packard.

Ron has also served on the board of numerous companies in the US and Japan. He is currently a board director at passportM, a social venture developing interactive digital media based on music from cultures around the world.

Ron earned his undergraduate degree in Biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, and has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

G.E. Szeto – Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

G.E. designs and builds the lead response management platform and the innovative products to help businesses gain a competitive edge on the Web. Through founding and co-founding several companies, and having held key executive and engineering positions at multiple companies, he’s a seasoned technology and media executive with several years of diverse experience in software and music industries.

His accomplishments are many: include piloting the world’s first voice interface for the Siebel sales force automation system (beating Siebel’s own product offering to the market by 6 months); playing a strategic advisory role with Toyota on the design and development of voice interface for in-car navigation systems; helping create the world’s first end-to-end ecommerce system for music (offering major label content in 1997, beating Apple by 6 years); and co-authoring patents on digital rights management.

G.E. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer and Information Sciences degree from University of California, Santa Cruz.
