What happens if the lead’s phone number is fake?

The Speak2Leads system simply checks to confirm the lead phone number has the correct number of digits (our phone number requirements are listed here). S2L does not do any sort of phone number validation beyond confirming the number of digits is correct.

If the lead’s phone number has the correct number of digits, S2L will generate a call. You can always remove the call from the call queue to prevent the call from generating additional call attempts.

If you find that you are receiving a large number of leads with non-working or fake phone numbers, we recommend adding a 3rd party phone validation application to your form.
