‘Goodbye’ and ‘Please press 3 to stop reattempts’ mean

What does the ‘Goodbye’ and ‘Please press 3 to stop reattempts’ mean?

The ‘Goodbye’ or ‘Please press 3 to stop reattempts’ prompts play if the lead’s line hangs up first.

You will hear only hear ‘Goodbye’ after the last reattempt has been made for the lead.

The ‘Please press 3 to stop reattempts’ prompt is optional to use. If this prompt is turned on, you will hear it at the end of the call when a connection between the rep and the lead did not occur.  If you do press 3, all future attempts for this lead will be removed from the queue.

If this happens unexpectedly and in the middle of a conversation, it’s possible the call dropped on the lead’s end due to a poor connection or service issues or possibly a dead phone battery.
